Auxiliary uniforms are similar to those worn by Coast Guard officers. Silver braid and silver buttons replace the gold braid and buttons worn by Coast Guard Officer. Auxiliary members may also wear other authorized emblems, insignia(Insignias) and ribbons(Ribbon Checker and Current Ribbons).

Some Coast Guard and Auxiliary activities require that Auxiliary members wear a specific uniform when participating. Uniforms shall be worn as prescribed in the US Coast Guard Uniform Regulations . New members may want to go to a local division materials store to get the correct uniform size and get all the correct accessories(patches, name tag, etc.). The local Materials store for Division 15 is 1425-P East Lincoln Ave, Anaheim Ca 92805 ph: 714 758-9001. This is a good resource for all members who require uniform assistance and supplies quickly.

Members can go to the District 11 Materials Store to view the material store stock and to order items on-line.

A great place to shop on-line is the US Coast Guard Uniform Distribution Center that has the best selection for Coast Guard uniforms that Auxiliary members wear. Go to the Shop On-line section and set up a login ID. Well worth effort for good service, selection and price.
